When I heard that I had been nominated for the Successful Women in Business Professional Service Award 2019 I couldn’t be more pleased. It is an honour to be nominated alongside such an incredible selection of professional services and to be recognised for the support I provide to businesses really makes all the hard work of running a small business all the more worthwhile.

I am proud that the work I carry out has had such a positive impact on those businesses I work with and has allowed them to grow and reach their potential.

As a Virtual Assistant to coaches, I know how important it is to celebrate achievements. In my day job, we encourage others to do just this and train their thinking so they feel more confident talking about their wins. It seems quite odd therefore that I had to remind myself to do the exact same thing and actually feel okay to talk about my own achievements. If I don’t, no one will end up knowing about my exciting news and just what it means to me. Nor would I have the opportunity to thank those that nominated me.

The Successful Women in Business Awards celebrate and showcase some of the most inspirational women in business across the South West of England and is such an important occasion to acknowledge and recognise something that has perhaps been overlooked previously.

I am looking forward to the Awards ceremony which is taking place at The George Albert Hotel on the 7th June and celebrating with all the amazing and worthy winners on the night.
